Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (Honours) - Consumer Behaviour (ED)

Program Description Students can experience the best of both worlds in the DAN Department of Management & Organizational Studies. DAN instructors are industry professionals with real-world experience and research-focused academics providing insight into the latest management and organizational theories.

Complete courses during their studies that count towards professional designations such as the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst CFA),Certified Human Resources Professional CHRP) or an Integrated Commercial Pilot's License ICPL).

The Consumer Behavior module is for students interested in understanding the multiplicity of factors that determine what the consumer buys, when and where they buy, and more importantly, why they buy. These factors include information use and decision making, personality and lifestyle, perception, learning, self-concept, attitudes and values, demographics, and society and culture. This knowledge is combined with the various techniques employed to attract and serve customers, thus forming the basis for strategic marketing decisions. NOTE: Please note the English scores listed are minimum requirements. Meeting the minimums does not guarantee admission. Students with low English scores may be admitted to the English BOOST Program, a 9 week training program for conditional admission to their chosen program.
