Master of Business Administration - Health Sector Management

The MBA is an internationally recognised and respected qualification for managers. Applicants come from both the public and private sectors in the UK and abroad. The teaching programme is designed for individuals seeking to develop their careers, as well as for high-achieving professionals who require an understanding of all major business functions, providing generalist knowledge for future leaders. This is achieved by following the UK Quality Assurance Agency guidelines, offering students a strong practical and professional orientation that distinguishes the MBA from other master’s programmes. All students complete seven taught modules (five compulsory and two optional), along with a final project. Students may graduate with the generic MBA – Master of Business Administration – or choose to pursue a specialist pathway. Both the generic MBA and the specialist MBA pathways offer the opportunity to undertake a 12-month industry placement. The placement option is subject to the fulfilment of specified terms and conditions.
