University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Applied Science - Surveying (Honours) (BH116P23) (110978D) The RMIT Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) prepares students for an in-demand career as surveyors by developing sought-after skills supported by strong industry links, work experience, and access to the latest equipment and software. The program builds expertise in the measurement, processing, interpretation, and presentation of information related to the size, shape, nature, and location of features within the physical environment.

This hands-on degree creates a strong connection between theory and practice across a range of surveying specialisations, including engineering and topographical surveying, cadastral surveying, mining surveying, hydrographic surveying, geodetic surveying, high-precision digital infrastructure surveying, land boundary legislation, and land development.

Through fieldwork, industry projects, and work-integrated learning opportunities, students gain real-world skills and industry experience. These experiences support the development of fundamental knowledge in surveying, enabling students to understand how surveying technologies and techniques are applied across social, cultural, ethical, legal, and business contexts.
