Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Youth Studies (L531)

This degree will develop students' skills to work with young people and practice youth work. Students will take an in-depth look at evolving identities, media representations, social policy, community development and the history of government approach to youth policy.

This degree encompasses cultural studies, criminology, sociology and psychology to provide insights into everything from youth work, to urban gang life and young people’s social welfare.

This Youth Studies BSc will help students develop practical and transferable skills such as computing, video production, plus quantitative and qualitative analysis. These skills will be beneficial to their employment, further education or research.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
