Double Degree - Bachelor of Arts - Art & Bachelor of Business Administration - Economics (Optional Co-op)

With a combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Management (B.A./B.Mgt.) degree, the student can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, if the student is interested in managing an art gallery, they can major in art and general management. If sports marketing ignites their passion, they can major in kinesiology and marketing. The Combined B.A./B.Mgt. degree program takes five years (50 courses) to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees. Bachelor of Management - Economics

Economics is the social science that provides understanding, meaning and relevance of human action under conditions of scarcity. In other words, the study of economics enables a more effective use of scarce resources such as the time and talent people have available, the land, buildings, equipment, other tools on hand, and the knowledge of how to combine them to create products and services to satisfy human wants. Economics is a value-free science. It never tells people how to act; it merely shows how they need to act to attain specific results.

Bachelor of Arts - Art

A bachelor's degree (BA) in art allows students to explore art as well as other interests; it offers flexible program options, while they focus on studio art and art history/museum studies courses.

Students can build their program across art, humanities, sciences and social sciences. They will delve into studio art and art history/museum studies courses to understand and appreciate art from around the world, and immerse themselves in the study of culture and creativity. Students will also complement these studies with courses outside of their major to achieve their degree.
