2-Term Undergraduate Foundation Program - Business, Economics, Finance and Management - Continue to - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Accounting and Finance

The Undergraduate Foundation Program in Business, Economics, Finance and Management is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to a wide range of undergraduate studies at the University of Central Lancashire.

The Foundation portion of this program lasts one academic year (nine months). The year is divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. On average, students will undertake 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

There are four academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. Academic skills relevant to the specific subject area will be taught to fully prepare them for university study. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Life Sciences.

BA Accounting and Finance offers you the ideal preparation for a career as a Chartered Accountant. The course is designed so that it covers the same content as some of the chartered accountancy exams. The students can develop their intellectual capacity and intellectual skills and also build a strong knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance.
