Nurses never know what each shift will bring—which is why this program is designed to prepare students for anything, with a broad education in clinical nursing. Students will likely start with science-based coursework in chemistry and anatomy, then move on to upper-level classes that focus on specific diseases throughout a patient’s lifespan. Students will work on lifelike patient simulators that prepare them to handle emergency situations, and gain confidence through hours of real-world practice in clinical settings. The concept-based curriculum prepares students to take lessons from the classroom and apply them in different settings, for patients at various stages of wellness or illness. Students are qualified to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam after graduation.
