Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Games Animation, Modelling and Effects (Foundation Year) (G404)

London Metropolitan University's Games Animation, Modelling and Effects (Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) degree has a built-in foundation year, designed to teach students the core skills they’ll need to succeed in the following three years of their course. The foundation year will teach students the fundamentals of digital design and image making, as well as creative practice in terms of composition and colour. They’ll produce work in different formats such as a journal, album and instruction manual. They’ll also create a project within a subject area of their choosing, allowing them to explore the more technical aspects of design. Year 0 will ensure students are well-equipped to begin Year 1 of their games animation degree. They’ll be supported by London Met's dedicated staff who will help students find their academic strengths and build their confidence. The foundation year on this course is shared with numerous other foundation year degrees, meaning students will interact and learn with students who are interested in other specialist areas.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
