University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Fashion Sustainability (BP326P26) (118026K) RMIT’s fashion-focused degree equips students to work across digital prototyping, material innovation, circular design and sustainability strategy, developing the skills needed to drive meaningful change in the evolving fashion industry.

The program responds to the impact of technological innovation and the growing importance of environmental, social and ethical practices in how clothing is designed, produced and experienced. Students build capabilities in both technology and sustainability, alongside a strong understanding of contemporary fashion systems.

Through hands-on exploration, students experiment with new materials and processes, including bio-based textiles and circular approaches that rethink waste. They also engage with digital tools, such as prototyping technologies and artificial intelligence, to generate and refine design ideas, and investigate how materials interact with the body and environment.

The degree encourages students to critically understand current industry practices while developing the confidence and skills to challenge and reshape the future of fashion.
