University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (BP201P26) (118025M) RMIT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts offers an immersive experience within a diverse creative environment, enabling students to advance their artistic practice in specialised studios at a leading contemporary art school.

The program is centred on individual creative development, with intensive studio workshops and personalised mentoring from established contemporary artists. Students are encouraged to take creative risks, experiment with materials and forms, and explore the role of art in personal expression and broader social and political contexts.

Students enter the degree through one of four majors and further refine their practice through studio specialisations that integrate practical skills with art theory, contextual studies and professional development.

The program also offers a range of minors, allowing students to deepen their expertise or broaden their knowledge through interdisciplinary study options.
