The Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer (AA-T in Economics) is designed to provide a clear pathway to a California State University institution for students who plan to transfer and complete a California State University major or baccalaureate degree in Economics.

California Community College students who are awarded an Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer (AA-T in Economics) are guaranteed admission with junior standing somewhere in the California State University system and given priority admission consideration to their local California State University institution or to a program that is deemed similar to their community college major.
