University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Double Degree - Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical Engineering (Honours) & Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BH122CEH23) (116911H) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences prepares students to work across a range of roles in the expanding pharmaceutical industry, both in Australia and globally. The program develops an integrated understanding of chemical engineering processes and pharmaceutical sciences, enabling students to contribute to drug development and large-scale production.

Students gain a strong foundation in the principles of both disciplines and learn to apply this knowledge in practical and industrial contexts. The degree includes opportunities to design creative and sustainable solutions through design-and-build projects, as well as participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.

To support career readiness, students can also undertake work-integrated learning through industry experience electives, ensuring they graduate with practical skills and industry exposure.
