Foundation Program (091322F) + Diploma of Design (111385K) + Bachelor of Design / Bachelor of Business (090884B)

The Foundation Program is designed for international students who have not yet completed their high school education to the Australian Year 12 standard, or equivalent. It provides a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies to prepare them for entry to and success in university level studies across a broad range of study areas.

If students love visual creativity, the Diploma of Design is the perfect way to develop the skills they need to kickstart their career. Practical projects will help them fine-tune their artistic abilities and harness new technology. Theoretical studies in design thinking and problem solving will enable students to approach challenges with structure and confidence.

The Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Business enables students to combine business management skills with a studio major, developing core competencies such as critical and analytical thinking, business communication and decision-making.

The Design program prepares graduates for diverse professional practice as designers through practical and theoretical learning. The first year focuses on the development of manual and technological skills, design thinking, problem-defining and solving. Students will gain an understanding of the changing role of design and how they can become leaders in the industry.
