Double Degree - Bachelor of Arts - General Major Social Sciences & Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance (Optional Co-op)

With a combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Management (B.A./B.Mgt.) degree, the student can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, if the student is interested in managing an art gallery, they can major in art and general management. If sports marketing ignites their passion, they can major in kinesiology and marketing.

Bachelor of Management - Finance

Finance is the study of financial decision making in investment, portfolio management and corporate finance as well as managing risk, financial innovations in a dynamic business environment.

Finance students study areas such as corporate and personal finance, investments, global finance, financial technology (FinTech), Financial Institutions and Markets, and Derivatives. They will develop their skills using excel, statistical, trading and portfolio management software and draw from fields such as economics, accounting, and social responsibility as students prepare for career opportunities in the areas of banking, investments, international finance, trading, risk management and more.

Bachelor of Arts - General Major Social Sciences

A general major in the social sciences, unlike a single discipline major, allows students to customize their course selection to their interests and abilities. Where students compromise depth of focus in one area, they gain breadth of knowledge in a few key areas, thus increasing their flexibility. This multidisciplinary approach provides access to the "big picture" or the wider context of any subject area. Conversely, the courses students choose can enhance their focus, and provide a cross-discipline perspective on one particular theme.
