This MSc programme provides an opportunity for students to engage with advanced concepts in mechanical engineering and mechatronics, encompassing critical areas such as energy systems, rigid and deformable body mechanics (including Finite Element Analysis), manufacturing, and design. During the first year, students receive support from the University in identifying and securing a suitable client-led project, while simultaneously developing subject-specific knowledge through the taught modules of the programme. In the second year, students undertake the professional project, collaborating with industry professionals and expanding their professional networks.

While students are responsible for securing their own project, the University provides guidance and support throughout the process. A dedicated preparation module is also included to equip students with the professional and interpersonal skills required to succeed in the workplace.
