Undergraduate Foundation Program WSU’s Undergraduate Foundation program provides additional academic and/or English language support and personalized advising to help students smoothly transition to full university study. Students are unconditionally admitted to the university and graduate in the same amount of time as direct-entry students – they are just provided with additional support courses. Bachelor of Arts - Chemistry - Chemistry Teaching Students wishing to teach high school chemistry would pursue a B.A. degree in chemistry with the appropriate education coursework and upon completing their student teaching in the fifth year, they would hold a residency teacher certificate with an endorsement in chemistry.
