The Juris Doctor – International Law is a professional law degree that provides a comprehensive foundation in legal principles and practice while allowing students to develop specialized knowledge of international legal systems. Core studies may include constitutional law, contracts, criminal law, property law, torts, administrative law, legal ethics, and legal research and writing.

The international law focus may explore public and private international law, international human rights, global trade and investment, international dispute resolution, humanitarian law and the role of international institutions. Through case analysis, advocacy exercises, research assignments and experiential learning, students strengthen their legal reasoning, negotiation, communication and professional-practice skills.

Graduates may pursue opportunities in legal practice, government, international organizations, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, policy development and global advocacy. Completion of the degree does not automatically authorize legal practice; graduates must meet the licensing and professional admission requirements of the relevant jurisdiction.
