The Environmental Hazards driven by climate change and the rapid expansion of the world population are causing significant damage. These global and local disasters result in numerous fatalities and incur billions of pounds in costs each year. Earth scientists specializing in hazard analysis play a crucial role in mitigating the impact of natural hazards, such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, volcanoes, coastal erosion, as well as environmental hazards caused by human activities, such as air and water pollution.
Individuals undertaking this course will develop an advanced understanding of environmental hazards and gain technical expertise in risk assessment. They will acquire essential skills in numerical and statistical modeling, remote sensing, and data analysis. The course offers ample opportunities to gain practical experience by utilizing cutting-edge field and laboratory equipment, as well as high-level professional software. Students will have the chance to work with the latest modeling methods using remote sensing data from satellites like CubeSat constellations and Sentinel, which are specifically designed to capture images of the Earth's surface.
Universitet koʻrsatgan holda. Ular sizga mos keladimi — bu sizning natijalaringizga bogʻliq; soʻrang, maslahatchimiz siz bilan tekshiradi.
Ayting, maslahatchimiz kirish talablarini siz bilan birga koʻrib chiqadi, nima borligini va nima yetishmayotganini aniqlaydi va arizani oxirigacha olib boradi.
Ismingizni va siz bilan qanday bogʻlanishimiz mumkinligini qoldiring — maslahatchi siz oʻqiyotgan tilda javob beradi.
