This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Durham University International Study Centre located at Queen's Campus, in Stockton on Tees. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Durham University. In a Pre-Masters program students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This Pre-Masters provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the University of Durham, Durham City campus in a range of subjects related to economics, accounting or finance.

After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the MSc - Finance program. The MSc Finance programs are designed to provide students with rigorous training at the frontier of research, as well as the advanced analytical and technical skills that are highly sought after by global employers and, if the student wishes to continue their studies, by world-leading PhD programs.

These MSc programs have partnership status with the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA). The CFA is the world’s premier association for investment professionals and the accepted benchmark for technical excellence in financial markets. It guarantees students benefit from a curriculum of the highest standards and enables them to participate in the CFA Global Investment Research Challenge, as well as CFA employer network events and scholarships.

The program consists of a set of core and elective modules, culminating in a practice- based business project or a research-based dissertation.
