This pathway is designed to meet Associate of Arts (AA-DTA) degree requirements with an emphasis in History. Completion of this degree opens doors to a variety of careers in museums, government, research, park service, political activism, nonprofits, policy, and education. It also allows students to transfer at the junior level into a history or related program at a four-year college or university.

Students in the pathway learn how to think historically, hone their written and verbal communication skills, acquire research methods and analytical tools, develop information literacy, and better comprehend how events in the past influence our present.
