Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Environmental Solutions

The Environmental Solutions program at Laurentian University is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that combines environmental science, Indigenous knowledge, and social sciences. It is designed to provide students with the tools to address biodiversity loss, climate change, and environmental sustainability, while preparing them to design solutions that consider multiple perspectives.

Dual Credentials and Partnership Offered jointly with Cambrian College, this program allows students to earn two distinct credentials:

• A Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Environmental Solutions from Laurentian University. • A Graduate Certificate in Environmental Control from Cambrian College.

Students spend their first, second, and fourth years studying at Laurentian University, while their third year is spent at Cambrian College completing the Graduate Certificate. This dual-credential approach equips graduates with a strong foundation in environment-focused science, significant field technical training, and a balanced perspective on social accountability and Indigenous views on environmental health.
