Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical Engineering (Honours) (BH079P23) (110997A) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) (Honours) equips students with the skills and knowledge to design sustainable processes and products that benefit society, industry, and the environment. The program integrates chemical sciences, physics, and biological sciences to support the design and improvement of industrial processes such as water purification, food production, and the development of products including cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Students learn how to improve the efficiency of processing industries while reducing environmental impact through lower energy use and waste production. They also develop the ability to transform raw materials such as minerals and oil into valuable products like composites, fuels, plastics, and paper.

The degree includes work-integrated learning opportunities, allowing students to apply their knowledge through design-and-build projects and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge. Graduates receive an internationally recognised qualification accredited by Engineers Australia and the Institution of Chemical Engineers, supporting global career opportunities.
