Master of Science - Accounting and Finance

This course is ideal for those who aspire to a career in financial management, accountancy or corporate treasury. The course has been developed in consultation with global finance professionals. Students will study topics covering financial accounting, modelling and reporting, and the theories of finance and investment, and their use in decision-making. The course includes a research project, in which they can study a chosen topic in depth.

This course is taught by research-active staff and provides cutting-edge knowledge regarding the latest developments in the accounting and finance sector. This course gives students entry into the CIMA Master's Gateway. Those who successfully complete the CIMA Gateway Exam, they will be granted exemptions that include subjects from the certificate level, operational and management level exams. The course also offers exemptions from the professional exams of the ACT. Students will gain practical experience, working on real-life cases and financial data platforms, such as Bloomberg, Fame and Datastream.
