2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year in Business and Management - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Marketing

Students will enter at Year 0 (University Foundation) with the Undergraduate Pathway in Business and Management. Students are guaranteed progression to the second year of their chosen degree, providing that they meet the progression critia. Year 0 takes place in ICP using dedicated lecturers and benefit from small class sizes.

BA (Hons) Marketing

This BA (Hons) Marketing degree course gives students the knowledge and analytical and creative skills they need to excel as a professional marketer.

Students will get a grounding in essential business skills and learn the role marketing plays in successful organizations. They'll learn how to use customer insight, research and the latest marketing software to understand their customers and markets to supercharge their marketing strategies and communications.

Students will study topics including strategic marketing, advertising and digital marketing and choose modules that suit their interests and career ambitions in areas such as public relations (PR), sales management, social marketing and consumer behaviour theory.

Students will have plenty of opportunities to apply their marketing knowledge and hone their creativity, critical analysis, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills on live campaigns with businesses. After year 2, students will have the chance to enhance their career prospects and apply their skills in the workplace on a placement year.
