University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Design - Animation and Interactive Media (BP203P14) (079976B) RMIT’s Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) explores animation in all its forms, from character animation to motion graphics across linear and interactive environments. Delivered within a creative studio setting, the program emphasises intellectual inquiry and conceptual development alongside technical practice.

Throughout the degree, students develop strong capabilities across design, media and art disciplines, graduating with both technical proficiency and a high level of aesthetic and critical understanding.

The program is recognised nationally and internationally, with students and staff regularly showcasing work at major festivals and conferences such as SIGGRAPH, MIAF, LIAF, MILIA and Annecy.
