Post-Graduate Diploma - Artificial Intelligence and Innovation

The Artificial Intelligence and Innovation program prepares students to become professionals who not only possess technical expertise in artificial intelligence but also demonstrate innovative thinking, financial acumen, and management skills. This two-year (four-semester) post-graduate diploma program is offered full-time at the Saskatoon campus.

The program blends advanced information technology (IT) skills with core business knowledge, focusing on innovation, adaptability, and sustainability. Students will become versatile professionals who use technology to enhance efficiency and drive growth.

Students will receive training in the following areas:

• Emerging technologies • Machine learning, prompt engineering, and business intelligence • Human-computer interaction • IT ethics, IT governance, and sustainability • Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud infrastructure • Enterprise data architecture and associated technologies • Application of artificial intelligence (AI) and application programming interfaces (APIs) to business applications • Business skills, including business mathematics, business communication, creative thinking, leadership, cost management, change management, and entrepreneurship

The program also offers an optional co-operative education placement.
