Master of Arts - Media Production (Professional Placement)

This master’s course is designed to equip students with the professional skills required to succeed in the digital media production industry, while also developing a strong foundation in production theory.

The programme is suitable for individuals with prior industry experience as well as those seeking a career change, providing opportunities to develop new skills and apply professional media practice to enhance existing experience.

The course offers a comprehensive understanding of visual and audio media and their ongoing evolution. Professional practice is embedded throughout the curriculum, preparing students for careers across a wide range of digital media, including online platforms, television, and radio broadcasting. Those focusing on audio production build skills in sound design, multitrack editing, and audio mastering, with opportunities to produce podcasts, on-demand content, and radio features. The course also includes training in live studio production, presentation skills, and creating targeted content for social media.
