3-Semester Pathway - Extended International Foundation Year - Business, Law, Social Studies - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) International Relations and Politics

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at Liverpool John Moores University followed by entry into a university program offered at Liverpool John Moores University. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Law and Social Studies will familiarize you with a wide area of study. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

The degree takes an expanded definition of what is International Relations and covers a range of subjects from economics, politics, law and culture to examining the actions of international organisations, nation-states and non-state actors. It provides you with an essential grounding in international relations theory and a range of specialist modules, which examine in-depth issues of enduring international significance, such as conflict, state-building, and the role of multilateral organisations.

​To develop your knowledge and interest in the varying topics and roles that people do, we will hold and attend regular events and workshops with practitioners and experts.
