1-Semester Pathway Pre-Masters - Business, Media and Social Sciences - Transfer to Master of Arts in Social Anthropology

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the International Year One programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. English language and career skills are combined with subject-specific modules such as social sciences, cultural studies, and a variety of business skills such as accounting, finance and business management to provide you with a strong foundation for your chosen business, media and social sciences degree.

The Master of Arts in Social Anthropology is located within the School of Global Studies, which has a strong tradition of socially and politically engaged anthropology focusing on real-world issues. This MA is for you if you want to deepen your knowledge of anthropology – but it also offers professional training if you’re new to the field.

Anthropology is applicable in everyday life and a growing number of professional contexts, from NGOs to large companies, hospitals and educational institutions.
