Georgian College - Barrie
Это описание есть только на английском языке.
In this program, students learn to support children's development from birth to 12 years, fostering self-worth and social-emotional resilience. They design play-based experiences focused on children’s interests through indoor and outdoor activities. Students understand the importance of being responsive caregivers while respecting diversity, identity, and children's rights. Collaborations with families, professionals, and community programs are essential in early learning and care. Field placements allow students to apply their knowledge and skills with children and adults, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Graduates can apply to become a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with the College of Early Childhood Educators and may work in various early learning settings, including licensed childcare, before-and-after school care, family home care, early years resource centers, mental health agencies, private home childcare, kindergarten programs, and recreation programs, as well as school readiness and early intervention programs. There is also growth in contractual and self-employment opportunities.
