TAFE NSW's Diploma of Business is a higher education qualification that will prepare students for a pathway into the Bachelor of Business. On completion of this qualification, students will be prepared to work as a business professional across a range of industries in national and international contexts.

Students will gain knowledge that is transferable to any industry sector, including management, finance, human resources, technology information systems and marketing elements of an integrated business strategy. This diploma also extends students' knowledge of using business and online technologies, business research methodologies, critical analysis and conceptual thinking, creative reasoning and problem-solving, which all lead to the development of interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.

Work Placement Requirements: Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 hours of work placement as part of this degree. The timing of work placement is flexible, and arrangements are negotiated with the employer. It is recommended that students identify host employers to undertake their work placement; however, TAFE NSW's experienced teachers can also assist students in finding this placement to complete these hours successfully.
