University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

University Diploma - Information Technology (C5402) (107251C) The RMIT Diploma of Information Technology provides students with practical skills and industry knowledge to help launch a career in IT. Guided by experienced teachers with strong industry backgrounds, students develop a project portfolio throughout the program.

As part of their studies, students learn to create web-based solutions for clients, develop mobile applications, and apply project management skills to IT projects. The program also covers technical areas such as installing and troubleshooting enterprise routers and switches, designing user experience (UX) solutions, building dynamic websites, integrating databases, and designing and testing network servers.

In addition, students build professional skills including promoting cybersecurity awareness, managing client needs, and developing innovative concepts, preparing them for a range of roles in the IT industry.
