University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Certificate IV - Photography and Digital Imaging (C4415) (110048B) RMIT’s Certificate IV in Photography and Digital Imaging focuses on developing highly practical photographic skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, professionalism and hands-on industry knowledge.

In this one-year program, students gain foundational experience across all areas of photography, reflecting the role of a photographer’s assistant. They develop a broad range of skills in lighting, image capture, enhancement, manipulation and print production.

Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV, students are encouraged to progress to the Diploma of Photography and Digital Imaging, where they can specialise further. This additional one-year qualification enables students to produce professional portfolios both on location and in studio, while building the technical skills required to plan, deliver and evaluate photo imaging services.
