Typically undertaken over one semester, the module prepares students for practice-based opportunities aligned with their career aspirations. Students receive tailored support and guidance to apply for a range of advanced practice experiences, including research or project-based opportunities on campus or delivered virtually, employer-led work-based experiences, and internships with external organisations to gain offsite industry exposure.

Through this module, students engage in an advanced practice opportunity that complements their existing skills and future goals.

Assessment is based on a reflective evaluation, equivalent to 3,000 words, and is marked on a pass/fail basis. While the module does not contribute to the overall degree classification, it provides valuable hands-on experience that supports students in preparing for their future careers.
