Bachelor of Science - Psychology with Health and Wellbeing in Society (Honours)

Program Description This course combines the study of psychology with an exploration of health issues from a social science perspective.

A well-respected and widely sought-after degree, studying Psychology equips students with skills in critical thinking and communication as well as scientific research methods, data analysis and data presentation skills. This broad range of transferable skills makes Psychology graduates an attractive prospect for graduate employers. A psychology degree can open up diverse career options in areas such as research, healthcare, social work, marketing, the police services, teaching and human resources. On completion of the course students will also be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS); your first step to becoming a chartered psychologist. This psychology degree gives students an understanding of theories and research regarding the scientific study of mind and behaviour. Students will also receive research methods training and be supported to undertake their own original Psychology research project in the final year of their studies.
