Specifically designed to give students a solid grounding in the theoretical and professional skills needed to offer high-quality nursing care that meets the needs of clients, service users and their families, this course will ultimately teach students how to enable, educate, and encourage those experiencing mental health problems to progress towards recovery.

Practical experience takes a central role in the course, completed in a variety of healthcare environments which includes community and hospital settings. As part of the placement students will take part in the full cycle of care which includes shift working, weekends and night duty.
