2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Art, Media and Architecture - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Photography

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Art, Media and Architecture will provide you the skills and tools necessary for success in an undergraduate degree in an array of fields such as design, media, journalism and even fashion design. During your time at the University of Huddersfield, you will study core subjects as well as optional subjects as media campaigns intentionally crafted for your chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield.

You’ll probably already have a good eye for composition and creating a photograph. Now you want to build on your practical skills, gaining a better understanding about what’s possible when you become part of this exciting and dynamic subject. Our course is structured to enable you to become a specialist in the dominant visual language of our age. There are careers available in an increasing range of industries from fashion and art, to advertising and education that all require the skills of informed, professional photographic practitioners.
