English Language Preparation + 2-Term Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Business Management (Human Resource Management)

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the University of Surrey International Study Centre followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Surrey. In your international foundation year you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

International Foundation Year

The Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the University of Surrey in the social sciences, business, and law. Students will study a core unit of general subject skills, subject-specific units and elective units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.

English Language Preparation

The English Language Preparation program is available for students who need to improve their English language skills in order to reach the required level for your program at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. After successful completion of the English language program, you will advance into your international foundation year

Degree Program

Upon completion of the pathway portion of this program, students will enter the Business Management (Human Resource Management) program at the University of Surrey. They will be introduced to a variety of key transferable skills and will study several different topics such as business, management, organisational psychology, international aspects of people management, as well as employee relations. The skills you learn at the University of Surrey will help you become an inspired global professional.

*Please note that Surrey offers two lengths depending on start dates, depending when students begin their International Foundation Year. 1 semester programme June, prior to starting the academic programme in September. 2 semester programme June, prior to starting academic programme in January
