University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Double Degree - Bachelor of Food Technology and Nutrition & Bachelor of Business (BP289FTNDD) (111274F) The RMIT Bachelor of Food Technology and Nutrition / Bachelor of Business double degree equips students with the technical knowledge to work in the food industry, along with the skills to design and promote innovative food products. The program provides the scientific knowledge essential for advancing technological capabilities, alongside international business, economic, and financial expertise with a global perspective.

The food science component enables students to develop novel, healthy, and functional food products that meet consumer demands and comply with strict safety and health guidelines. It also equips them with the skills to improve the quality of manufactured food supply, creating safe and nutritious foods with extended shelf life.

The business component develops the skills needed to contribute to large-scale food processing companies with a global operational focus, helping to make Australian manufacturing more competitive.
