Double Degree - Bachelor of Arts - Art & Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting (Optional Co-op)

With a combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Management (B.A./B.Mgt.) degree, the student can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, if the student is interested in managing an art gallery, they can major in art and general management. If sports marketing ignites their passion, they can major in kinesiology and marketing. The Combined B.A./B.Mgt.. degree program takes five years (50 courses) to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees. Bachelor of Management - Accounting

Accountants are central to the operations and strategies of all types of organizations as well as the foundation of short- and long-term success. Accountants provide business and financial advice by measuring, analyzing, forecasting and reporting organizational performance, resources and risk. Students will be required to have integrity and the ability to think critically, communicate, and interact with others effectively.

Accounting students gain technical skills and learn how to address a broad range of business problems. They will acquire and practice the skills needed for success, including writing and presenting, using professional tools and case analyses. Students study financial reporting, individual and corporate taxation, business analytics and information systems, auditing, management control systems and costing, as well as variety of other management disciplines.

Bachelor of Arts - Art

A bachelor's degree (BA) in art allows students to explore art as well as other interests; it offers flexible program options, while they focus on studio art and art history/museum studies courses.

Students can build their program across art, humanities, sciences and social sciences. They will delve into studio art and art history/museum studies courses to understand and appreciate art from around the world, and immerse themselves in the study of culture and creativity. Students will also complement these studies with courses outside of their major to achieve their degree.
