Students will be part of protecting the digital systems of today and beyond. They will graduate with the essential skills for cyber threat detection and mitigation.

Program Highlights • Design cyber security solutions to protect business resources. • Create best practices in protecting mobile devices, smart homes and Industry 4.0 factories from cyber attacks. • Participate in simulation labs where students will defend against cyber attacks. • Engage in hands on experiential learning in Mohawk College's state of the art cyber labs facilitated by expert faculty • Study using extensive online learning and night classes to fit busy schedule

Learning outcomes: • Develop, implement and evaluate cyber security strategies and solutions for various operating systems, networks, application software, and packages. • Respond to the cyber security needs of internal stakeholders. • Recommend processes and procedures for maintenance and deployment of cyber security solutions. • Design and implement cyber security solutions in compliance with current security policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations. • Design and implement project management principles throughout the organization’s information security processes. • Risk mitigation and auditing of information systems.

Additionally, this program is a part of the Mohawk College's Twinning programs. The twinning programs allow international students when applying to take 2 graduate certificate programs back-to-back, allowing them to apply for a two-year study permit with just one application. Note: This program is part of the Mohawk College's Twinning option, the programs included within this option change on a semester to semester basis.
