Master of Science - Psychology

The MSc Psychology offers students a broad curriculum in psychology. Students should apply for the course if they're a non-psychology graduate or a graduate with a non-accredited psychology degree who wants to qualify for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS). The course covers the BPS' GBC curriculum and offers option modules in applied psychology. It's been specifically designed for non-psychology graduates and graduates with non-accredited psychology degrees. Students will be assessed with essays, practical reports, end-of-module examinations, and a 12,000-word dissertation. Successful completion of this British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree will make students eligible for Graduate Membership and Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC). GBC is required to obtain Chartered status whereafter students can use the letters CPsychol after their name. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
