Bachelor of Applied Computing (BAAC)

Students in the Bachelor of Applied Computing program at Cambrian College are prepared to step confidently into the evolving world of technology. Designed for individuals who are curious about both the “why” and “how” behind technological systems, the program equips learners with applied skills and theoretical knowledge essential for success in the fast-paced tech industry. As the only program of its kind in northern Ontario, it provides a distinctive opportunity to develop industry‑relevant expertise that helps graduates stand out in a competitive field.

During the first two years, students build a strong foundation in core computer science principles while gaining hands‑on, applied learning experience. By the third year, they choose a specialization that reflects their interests and career goals—Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Data Analytics.

A paid internship completes the program, enabling students to apply their research and analytical skills in real‑world environments, gain practical industry experience, and establish valuable professional connections that support their future careers.
