University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Advanced University Diploma - Engineering - Aeronautical (C6187) (112017D) The RMIT Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Aerospace) provides students with advanced technical and managerial skills required for paraprofessional roles in aerospace manufacturing, design, and maintenance. The program prepares graduates to work across organisations of varying sizes, including within the defence sector.

Students develop capabilities in maintaining and working on aircraft systems, including engines, airframes, electrical systems, instruments, radio systems, and aircraft structures. The program also covers specialist areas such as aircraft design and layout, mechanical fault diagnosis of airframe and engine systems, and structural work involving sheet metal, bonded materials, and composite components.
