University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) (BH104P25) (080225J) RMIT’s industrial design program explores the transdisciplinary nature of contemporary design through hands-on, practice-based studios. Students engage in human-centred approaches to co-create solutions across product, service and experience design contexts.

With more than 75 years of experience in industrial design education, RMIT offers a program that combines technical, theoretical and applied learning. Students work on real-world challenges in both industry and community settings, gaining practical experience throughout their studies.

The program culminates in a year-long honours design research project, allowing students to consolidate their knowledge and develop innovative, research-informed design solutions.
