Master of Education in Leadership in Learning - Global Perspective (Course-based)

UPEI’s Master of Education in Leadership in Learning is for individuals who want to become leaders in teaching, administrators, researchers, academics, highly qualified educators. Graduates from this program are teachers; educators in the corporate, government, arts, health, and not-for-profit sectors; PhD candidates; professors and instructors in colleges and universities; administrators and policy-makers. The Master of Education program is designed to provide experienced educators in any field with the knowledge and skills required to become effective educational leaders. The overall aim of the program is to promote and support educational scholarship, research, and practice. Through studying relevant curriculum with researchers and expert practitioners, our students gain the capacity to make valuable contributions to the field of education—and to the lives of others.

Global Perspectives (on campus) This innovative course-based graduate program is designed for international students from a variety of countries to bring a global perspective to leadership in learning in 21st century educational contexts. Participants will explore theory and practice from the fields of international and comparative education, educational leadership, curriculum and pedagogy, and global education. Students will enhance their competencies as educators and global citizens as they engage in active experiential learning and critical reflection.
