2-Semester Pathway - Pre-Master's Programme - Continue to Master of Science - Digital Innovation Management

The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is a two-semester programme, with guaranteed progression to a wide range of Master’s degrees at Loughborough University.

This Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The PMP will allow them to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master's degree studies. They will study academic modules relating to their chosen progression route. Each semester consists of thirteen teaching weeks, one reading week, and an assessment week. The weekly hours of study varies by semester with them on average studying around 18-21 (and up to 21) hours per week. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the programme and to allow them to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate programmes. Assessments will include coursework, essays, reports and other structured assignments, oral examination and unseen written examinations.

Master of Science - Digital Innovation Management: The Master of Science - Digital Innovation Management is aimed at providing students with a unique opportunity to combine knowledge of digital innovation with management insights and strategies, enabling them to stay ahead of one the fastest evolving trends in the world. Through this programme, they will gain advanced knowledge to drive digital innovations and inventions, and effectively generate business and revenue generating ventures. This will include patenting to secure inventions, prototyping to increase market interests and added value, and to decide on licensing, spinning out a company or both. This unique programme combines essential digital technologies knowledge with business insights and strategy skills, also enabling them to increase business efficiency, reduce operational costs, access wider markets and increase revenues.
