University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BP311P23) (110986D) The RMIT Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences explores the science and business of developing new medicines and treating disease through pharmaceutical science. The program teaches students about the human body and the use of drugs to prevent and manage illness.

Throughout their studies, students develop knowledge of how the human body functions, how drugs act within it, and how the pharmaceutical industry works to deliver more reliable, accessible, and effective treatments.

In addition to building an understanding of pharmacology and physiology, the program covers the development of new drugs, the clinical use of medications, and the legal and regulatory frameworks involved in bringing medicines to market.

Students gain foundational knowledge in biochemistry, cell biology, and physiology, along with advanced understanding of pharmacology, clinical trials, drug development, and therapeutics, preparing them for multidisciplinary careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
