This program introduces students to theoretical and hands-on training, on both CNC and conventional machines. As a graduate of this program, students may be eligible to enter directly into the second year of the Mechanical Technician - General Machinist or Tool and Die/Tool Maker program. Additionally, students may not be required to complete the in-school apprenticeship training for Level 1 should they choose to pursue a general machinist or tool and die/tool maker apprenticeship.
