Marymount University
Это описание есть только на английском языке.
All education programs are designed to prepare graduates to enter the job market as beginning professionals in their respective disciplines. Marymount alumni teach in public, private, Catholic, and independent schools.
In order to become a teacher, the Commonwealth of Virginia expects students to become an expert in the subject matter they will be teaching. So, students need to choose a major for the discipline or population like to teach, then supplement that coursework with classes to earn teaching licensure. Marymount offers undergraduate teaching licensure for elementary (grades prekindergarten-6), special education(K-12) and secondary (grades 6-12) levels.
Marymount’s teacher preparation programs are accredited by the Virginia Department of Education: Division of Teacher Education and Certification of the Virginia Department of Education and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
This program allows students to complete a baccalaureate degree in multidisciplinary studies and also be licensed to teach grades PK-6. They pursuing licensure in this manner complete all requirements necessary for Virginia licensure, including field experiences and their teaching, at the end of four years.
